Following a huge departure expected in the upcoming summer transfer window, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is reportedly considering bolting his entire squad, with Antonio Rudiger already gone.
However, the Blues have been unable to sign their long time target Aurelien Tchouameni, who has ultimately agreed to join either Liverpool or Real Madrid.
However according to Football London, Chelsea has made a £38 million offer for Reims striker Hugo Ekitike to be signed, which is close to being accepted.
Ekitike has been linked with a move to the Premier League, and he reportedly wants to play for Chelsea.
Tuchel sees the 20-year-old as the ideal target to hone his blunt attacking options, with Lukaku's future in doubt following a catastrophic season debut, with rumors saying that a return to Serie A is a possibility.
Meanwhile, Marcos Alonso is close to leaving Real Madrid, with Barcelona interested in hiring him.
