Man Utd: Good News to Bissaka, Lingard's New Suitors, Schweinsteiger Disappointed

Aaron Wan Bissaka

Manchester United defender Aaron Wan Bissaka’s European match ban has been reduced by one game. This will be great news for Ole Gunnar Solksjaer as it will be one less problem for him as he tries to figure out ways of tightening his defense. Wan Bissaka had been banned for three matches after conceding a red card against Young Boys a few weeks ago.

Manchester United will face Atalanta in the next UEFA Champions League fixture and nothing more than keeping a clean sheet will ensure Manchester United’s win. But Atalanta are well known for their attacking prowess, especially in counterattacks.

Jesse Lingard

According to reliable sources, Barcelona and AC Milan are keeping a close eye on Jesse Lingard who is yet to sign a new contract with Manchester United. Jesse Lingard currently has one year in his contract with Manchester United and it had been reported earlier that plans to renew his contract were already in motion. Barcelona had shown serious intent in signing him during the last summer, but the transfer request was blocked even before it made headlines on social media platforms.

Lingard has been pivotal in the Manchester United squad and losing him for free would be a huge waste for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. However, Lingard has proved to be a stubborn person as he has refused to hold negotiations with Manchester United representatives more than once in the past couple of months.

Bastian Schweinsteiger

Former Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger is heartbroken after Manchester United were edged 4-2 by Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. The German international had wished for Manchester United to win but apparently, luck was not on his side as was indicated by the final results. The loss however gives Manchester United a purpose to improve in the next competitive game.
