RWANDA V UGANDA
Rwanda was limited to a passive role in the game against Kenya and they only defended. Somehow, they managed not to lose (1:1) and avoided their second defeat in the tournament. They were very lucky to score a goal after only two opportunities they created.
For tonight's game, they prepare a long time ago, and a total of 36 players were invited, most of them are playing in the Rwanda domestic league.
Prediction: Under 2.5 Goals
DR CONGO V MADAGASCAR
DR Congo has no room for a new loss of points after the bad start with two draws against Tanzania and Benin, both with a 1:1 score.
For today's game, DR Congo has to face squad problems. Strikers Bolasie (0/0) & Elia (0/0), defenders Tisserand (1/0) & Mavinga (1/0), and midfielder Kakuta (1/0) were left out for different reasons. In front like they are strong with Cédric Bakambu and Dieumerci Mbokani.
However, Coach Héctor Cúper stated that he is very satisfied with the image of his players in training.
Madagascar disappointed in the first two games with two defeats, and realistically they will finish in the last position of the group.
Prediction: Both team to score.
SAUDI ARABIA V JAPAN
It has to be said that Saudi Arabia had quite a dose of luck in the previous qualifying rounds, as they won twice without showing that much.
Firstly, they won over Vietnam 3:1, without showing much for almost an hour, but an exclusion in the rival's team made their lives easier in the last thirty minutes of the match and they successfully reverted the scoreline scoring twice from penalty kicks.
Their second round wasn't that brighter either, winning against Oman 0:1 narrowly, thanks to a late goal in the first halftime. They did have more of the ball possession and managed to score out of a rare chance created back then.
Prediction: Both teams to score.
