Man Utd: Ten Hag’s Stance on Young Attacker’s Future, Spurs and Barca Team Up to Complete Transfer

Andrea Perreira

Manchester United have decided to let go of Andreas Perreira who has been heavily linked with a move to Fulham. The Brazilian recently came back from a loan spell from Flamengo but unfortunately for him, the Brazilian club could not trigger his release clause because the valuation set on him by Manchester United was too high. Fulham are nonetheless willing to negotiate a permanent deal for him this summer because they believe that he has all the qualities needed to elevate the club to greater heights.

The problem however is that Andreas Perreira is only focused on returning to Flamengo at the moment. “I’d love to return to Flamengo. My time there was epic and I would like to relive that. My agent knows that but it is up to Manchester United now to decide where I go next season.”

Clement Lenglet

Antonio Conte and Xavi Hernandez are currently immersed in talks to complete the signing of Clement Lenglet who has been identified as the perfect replacement for David Sanchez. Lenglet has agreed to join Tottenham and the only thing standing In his way in being declared Spurs’ newest acquisition is the pending agreement on personal terms. Antonio Conte has made it crystal clear that he only wants to sign the player on a loan deal and therefore negotiating a probable transfer fee won’t be necessary.

Manchester United will be disappointed by this news since there were high hopes to sign the player as an alternative for Lisandro Martinez who has also been linked with a move to Arsenal. Ten Hag had apparently sidelined the Frenchman since he knew that negotiating a permanent deal for him would be almost impossible especially since Barcelona are in a major financial crisis.
