Back in 2010 to 2013 while still playing for North London club Tottenham Hotspurs,Wales forward Gareth Bale was the best player in the premier league.
He set so many records during this period before leaving for Spanish giants Real Maddid. One of the records he set at the club that has stood for over ten years has been that of scoring twenty goals in a season without a single penalty. Most attackers barely get to even ten goals without scoring a penalty but not for Bale.Yesterday during Tottenham's premier league clash against Liverpool,South Korean forward Heung Min Son equalled this record. His goal early in the first half means he now has scored twenty league goals this season all without a penalty. With three games still left to play and with Son in very fine form, there is a chance he is going to break Gareth Bale's record.
He will also likely finish the season also being one of Tottenham's all time greats.
