Today's match between two English giants, Manchester United and Liverpool, has been rescheduled to kick off at 8.30 pm East African Time after The Red Devils fans broke into Old Trafford in protest and demanding the resignation of the club's American owners, the Glazers. The highly anticipated fixture was to begin at 6.30 pm EAT.
Many fans believed that the club should have sought them before joining the proposed European Super League. The hashtag #GlazersOut has been trending recently as the club's fans want out their owners claim that they are only concerned about money but not the club with its fans worldwide.
One of the top executives at the club, Ed Woodward, had already resigned bowing down to the pressure from fans. The fans still insisted the current club owners should resign as there are suitors who are already interested in taking over the ownership.
