Manchester United interim manager, Ralf Rangnick has issued important update on his squad ahead of the midweek Premier League fixture against Brentford.
Manchester United were forced to share points at Villa park after conceding two second half goals to draw 2-2. Club captain Harry Maguire was on the bench while Luke Shaw and Scot McTominay were out on suspension but are now back in contention for places.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford may as well be back after having injury issues. "Cristiano and Marcus were training yesterday, so we will train today," Rangnick said. On Antony Martial, Rangnick revealed that the player has not trained for the last two days but could he back. "He didn't train yesterday and the day before yesterday," he said.
Asked about Pogba's return date, Rangnick revealed that the Frenchman is back training with the first team but not ready to play as he will have to wait at least untill after the international break. "He [Pogba] won't be available for the two games this week but after the international break against Middlesbrough and Burnley he could be." Rangnick said.
