The Player Who Could Have Become An Arsenal Legend If He Stayed Longer At The Club

Arsenal has seen the emergence of brilliant players in their history for years, especially during the times of Arsene Wenger. Most of the legends in the Premier League have been at the Emirates and contributed to the huge success of the Gunners.

Players like Ian Wright, Thierry Henry, Robert Pires, Patrick Viera, and Dennis Bergkamp are some of the greatest players to play for Arsenal. To become such a great player for the club one needs a lot of effort and sacrifices to see such a huge success.

They have been some top talents in the last ten years who were playing for Arsenal like Alexis Sanchez, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Mesut Ozil, and Robin van Persie among others. However, among these players Chilean winger, Alexis Sanchez had a chance of becoming a club great.

The current Inter Milan star played for the London-based club for four years enjoying his career in the Emirates. He was the best player for the club during these years and won them some decent trophies.

After four years at Arsenal, Sanchez joined their rivals Manchester United and his career saw a big change. He started flopping and failed to regain his form like when he was at Arsenal and he couldn't dominate matches for the Red Devils.

He was later sold to Inter Milan by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who was the Red Devils' manager by then. His career had a great decline and he never got back to the top of his game.

If the 33-year-old Chile goal scorer remained at Arsenal for a long time he might end up in the books of the greatest players for the club.
