Eliud Kipchoge's Records & Titles After Smashing World Record

Eliud Kipchoge is arguably one of the greatest athletes the modern world has witnessed, this was evident today on Sunday after smashing his own record to win the Marathon in the capital of Germany, Berlin.

The double Olympic champion, crossed the line at the time of 2:01:09 to smash his previous record of 2:01:39 set at the 2018 edition of the Berlin Marathon.

After this latest historic accomplishment, we have compiled some of the famous records and titles of the veteran Kapsisisywa-born athlete.

After winning the Berlin Marathon today the kaptagat-based athlete enters records having won the race on four different occasions, 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2022, to equal the number of times held by Ethiopia's legend Haile Gebrselassie

Kipchoge first won the 2003 Junior championship and also the gold medal in the 5000M world athletic championship the, same year.

He has also won the London Marathon on four different occasions; 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019 to add to his Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020, Marathon wins.
