Barely two days after Gianluca Vialli's death, the world of football is into deep mourning yet again following the demise of former Cameroon and PSG midfielder Modeste M'bami.The midfield maestro passed on while at his home in Le Havre, France after a heart attack.
Born in Yaounde, Cameroon, Modeste M'bami began his football career with Sedan in 2000.He went on to join PSG in 2003 and later Marseille in 2006.He turned out for other clubs such as Almeira, Dalian Aerbin, Changchun Yatai, Al Ittihad, Millonarios and Le Havre.Internationally, he was a Cameroon national team player between 2000 to 2009.
Some of the honours he achieved through his playing career includes 2 Coupe de France titles with PSG in 2004 and 2006, Kings Cup with Saudi Arabian club Ittihad FC, Olympic Games gold medal with Cameroon in 2000 and finally a FIFA Confederations Cup runners up position with Cameroon in 2003.He passed on aged 40.
