Argentina Releases Their Official World Cup Squad As Key Forward Misses Out

Argentina national team boss Lionel Scaloni has just named his official list of players to represent the South Americans in the coming world cup.

The Copa America champions are one of the favourites to win the competition this year with lots of quality players at their disposal.

Lionel Messi is set to play his fifth world cup and it will probably be the last of the man considered one of the greatest of all time if not the greatest.

Paulo Dybala is also included in the squad despite fear of not being fit for the prestigious event.

However, Argentina will be without a key player in Giovanni Lo Celso who was a key figure in the latin Americans Copa America win.

Lo Celso is out of the tournament but the Argentines will still pose a big threat with Lionel Scaloni's men determined to bring the golden trophy to Buenos Aires.

Here is a tweet from Fabrizio Romano's official Twitter account on Argentina's official World Cup Squad;
