Good evening and welcome to my daily sports updates. Tap on the follow link on the top right corner if you haven't done so to receive more news updates. Welcome.
Kenyan athletes have been training ahead of the new season since the timetable was released by NOCK. Some of the big names accepted to put up good performances include Ferdinand Omanyala, Eliud kipchoge and Faith Kipyegon. Most of them have been seen in their trainings and will be expected to do better than the last Olympic games held in Japan. However, the team finished as number one in the African continent and will look to improve it's position worldwide.
However, something that got my eye is the winter flames. The celebrations were lit and according to NOCK, the games are fast approaching for the Kenyan athletes. Will the team Kenya win more medals as compared to those won in Tokyo Olympic games? All eyes will be on the government to support the athletes in order to make them perform better. They have been good ambasadors for the country and they deserve a good care. We wish them all the best ahead of the new season especially in the Olympic games.
