Chelsea travelled to abu Dhabi yesterday where they are set to participate in the upcoming club world cup. The blues had not learnt their opposition in the upcoming competition. Chelsea are set to play just two games, which could see them crowned winners of the competition by the weekend.
Chelsea will play al halal in the semifinals. The blues were shocked to see the likes of mattheus Pereira, odion ighalo and marega will be in the opposition team. Tuchel suffered his heaviest defeat with Chelsea against west Brom. West Brom were helped by Brazilian forward, matteaus Pereira on that day.
The Brazilian winger will look to inflict more pain to Tuchel's side on Wednesday when he faces them again, this time in the club world cup campaign. Chelsea also have previously encountered marega before, when they played against Porto in their champions league winning campaign.
The blues will also have to defend against former Manchester United and Watford striker odion ighalo. Chelsea are not going to have an easy match in the semifinals like some had anticipated. The blues must avoid defeat in order to keep their hopes of winning the trophy.
