Former Chelsea Striker Breaks down in Tears As He Announces End of His Record-Breaking Career

Former Chelsea centre forward Gonzalo Higuain 34 years old has announced to retire from his football professional career at the end of this season. He has been having impressive top flight at Spain,Italy and England and set to hang out his boots at the end of this season at Inter Miami campaign.

After initially struggling with Miami this campaign, Higuain has enjoyed a revival down the stretch, scoring 10 goals in his last 11 league appearances, giving him 14 goals and three assists on the season. But despite regaining his form for the Herons, a tearful Higuain told a press conference on Monday morning that he was calling time on his career at the end of the 2022 MLS campaign.

Argentina international set to end his career as legend having scored a total of 364 goals including 31 goals for his national team Argentina. With only three matches remaining for contract, he thanks those trusted on him as it's the time to say goodbye to his fans.
