Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland and Paris Saint Germain's Kylian Mbappe are next two football players set to dominate in the coming years.At just 20 and 22 years old respectively,Haaland and Mbappe have proved they are the heirs to Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo.When asked about the toughest opponents they have faced so far in their careers,Haaland says it is Liverpool's defender Virgil Van Dijk.He says Van Dijk is so good,powerful,quick and possess all the qualities.Haaland faced off against Virgil on a few occasions in the champions league back in 2019 while at RB Salzburg. He scored in their 3 to 4 goal loss to Liverpool but in the second leg he was kept quiet by Van Dijk in a two goal loss.For Mbappe his toughest opponent was completely different as it was a goal keeper non other than Italy's legend Gianluigi Buffon.Mbappe faced Buffon numerous times in the league while at As Monaco and ended up becoming his teammate at Paris Saint Germain in 2017.
