UEFA Champions League

Chelsea gets massive fitness boost ahead of Brentford clash

Chelsea have gotten a massive boost

ahead of next weekend’s clash with newly promoted Brentford football club.

Chelsea have welcomed back N’Golo Kante to training, as he has missed the last two games for the club.

The Frenchman tested positive to coronavirus ahead of the UEFA Champions League tie with Juventus football club and also missed the following game against Southampton football club.

Back at Cobham which is Chelsea's training ground, N'Golo Kante trained away from the main group today, as he worked on his fitness with a number of individual drills.

Despite so many of the first team players out on international duty, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel still has a top squad left to train with.

For yesterday's training session, the first-team players and the Academy players were involved, with the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi, Trevor Chalobah, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Ross Barkley, Hakim Ziyech, Saul Niguez and Malang Sarr all in action.
