Meru County Governor Kawira Mwangaza has revealed that out of the 14 teams currently competing in the 9th Edition of the Kenya Inter-County Sports and Cultural Association staff games in various sports disciplines, there are five teams which will compete tomorrow, on Thursday, in the quarter finals.
"Out of the 14 teams that are currently competing in the 9th Edition of the Kenya Inter-County Sports and Cultural Association (KICOSCA) staff games, which include the following sports: darts, chess, draughts, ajua, football, tag of War for men and women, women's volleyball, men's volleyball, netball, scrabble, badminton, table tennis, and pool, we will have five teams compete tomorrow, on Thursday, in the quarter finals", Kawira Mwangaza stated.
Meru County finished sixth overall in the scrabble games competition, but Mr Mitiri Patrick, a representative of Meru County, was ranked first among individuals.
