Chelsea are short of quality options in wide areas. This shortage has contributed to poor performance in recent matches. The last game against Real Madrid, Tuchel tried Azpilicueta as the left wing-backs, but the decision backfired!
With Hudson Odoi, things could have been a difference a bit. But the Chelsea wonder kid was nowhere, and he has been out for several games, and what has happened to him?
Odoi last game was in a 3-2 win against Luton town in FA tie where he picked up a minor ACL injury. But the injury has become serious than we thought, and it has kept him out for 8 games. We expected him to make a return against Southampton, but Tuchel has confirmed that he will still be out for some more weeks.
Odoi had started gaining more and regular game time, and he was improving in all aspects. But now injures and illness are affecting his rapid development.
