What Was Witnessed in Real Madrid's 2-0 Win Against Borussia Moenchengladbach

On Wednesday night December 9, Real Madrid played against Borussia Moenchengladbach. This was a Champions league clash of group B. This match was to determine who would finish in first position in group B. Real Madrid beat Moenchengladbach 2-0 and they took the lead of group B with 10 points while Moenchengladbach remained second with 8 points. Karim Benzema was the one who gifted his team Real Madrid the 2-0 win. He scored the first goal in the 9th minute after getting an assist from Lucas Vasquez. Later in the 32nd minute he doubled the lead after being assisted by Rodrygo. He was in great form that night.

Borussia Moenchengladbach’s goalkeeper was really fantastic in that match. He made a total of 5 saves which denied Real Madrid the chances to score more goals.
