Abdalla Hassan appears to have cemented the position on the wing for Star's coming at a time the national team is in preparation for the Afcon World cup qualifiers.

Prior to Abdalla's impressive performances, Cliff Nyakeya had made us believe that he was the right man for the job especially during the friendly match with Zambia, but as the way matters have unfolded the position is up for grabs. A healthy competition for building up a proper squad.

Normally especially in the world of football players tend to be overpraised when they have a good game or two, much is said about them in regards to their quality some saying they are the next big thing while others questioning their eligibility to sustain their form.

All this cumulatively will have an impact on the said character (the player) on whether to work towards the unimaginable heights or to be carried away with the short term praises. The media and social platforms fraternity included will always have it rough especially when things go the opposite, A case facing the now Kenya's lethal Winger Abdalla Hassan.

Among the teams that have expressed their interest in acquiring Hassan are Kenyan champions Gor Mahia. This is no suprise at all, because we have witnessed the same expressed by Gormahia whenever a young sensationnis on the rise. They've done so with Benson Omalla, Kenneth Muguna, Rama Salim, Blackberry Odhiambo John Softie Ndirangu just to mention a few.
Without a doubt some of these players GorMahia was their breakthrough to international levels and they've achieved massive personal accolades wherever they played their trade while others it was a case of counting the chicks before they hatch.

Aside from that, the technical bench has witnessed a drastic change of tacticians in a period of less than six months even bringing back their fomer captain Shakava and and landing a Brazilian too! But has it work? Still work in progress!
"Gor Mahia are a big team and I respect them very much," Hassan told Goal when asked about the rumours.
"But currently I have a contract with Bandari; it will not be good for me to start talking about other offers. they might be there but my aim is to stay focused on the club I am contracted to."
Hassan also commented on his recent rich form in front of goal, especially for the national team.
"Chances do not come easily and when you get one then you must try as hard as possible to capitalise on it," Hassan continued.
"The defenders are good in their marking, they don't let you pass easily, so when they sleep on the job you punish them. It is what I have been doing and I hope to maintain the consistency which will be beneficial to both my club Bandari and the national team."
It would be of essence for Hassan to stick with Bandari instead of moving out from the dockers, if he'll have to move then let his agent play their cards right and be in a league more superior to the our homebased league.

Come to think of it what will he experience at GorMahia in the Betking premier League that he hasn't seen with Bandari. Champions League football? Are we sure the army will be there in the seasons to come?

Anyway Joseph Okumu moved from Chemilil to South Africa, USA now Sweden and Gerrard's managed Ranger's are now knocking. If all they potential suitors deal hit a wall for Hassan, then the Kenyan league should be his last option and staying at Bandari to be his first choice.
