Today at half past four, Arsenal women hosted Tottenham Hotspurs women. The Gunners who have recently showed their hunger for the title began the game on a high not by scoring three goals in the first 15 minutes.
Katie Mckabe opened the scores in the fourth minute,with the club's current topscorer Vivianne Miedema adding a second three minutes later. Caitlin Foord found the net in the fifteenth minute,with the Gunners having got full control of the game.
Vivianne Miedema continued with her brilliance, wrapping up a hat trick before the break after putting two past Rebecca Spencer in the 36th and 46th minute.
Lucia Leon missed a penalty in the 49th minute for the Spurs, denying them a chance to get a consolation goal earlier on. Caitlin Foord added her second of the day when she scored in the 64th minute.
Having missed from the spot,Lucia Leon scored in the 75th minute to give Spurs the consolation goal they so much needed.
Currently, Arsenal sits top of the table,with fifteen points from four games they have played. Everton, Manchester United and Chelsea wrap up the top four respectively.
