France manager Didier Deschamps has now revealed why his team lost to Argentina in yesterday's world cup final match.

Deschamps claims his players lacked the energy needed during these and also in the penalty shootouts and ended up loosing to their opponents.

The French manager has however praised his players by changing the game and keeping their title hopes alive by forcing the game to extra time and to the penalties where the winner was decided.
France were two goals down by the end of the first half before Kylian Mbappe equalised and later bagged a Patrick after scoring a penalty late in the extra time to equalise Lionel Messi's goal.
However the French missed two penalties in the shootout and their title ambition ended as Argentina scored all their penalties.Despite loosing,French striker Kylian Mbappe was awarded the golden boot after scoring 8 goals in the competition.
