Arsenal maintains huge effort in their process to upgrade a quality squad depth ahead of a competitive second phase of the premier league campaign. Amazing prospects have been linked for a switch to Emirates recently but so far no signing has been announced.
27 year old Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has once again popped up to be of interest to Arsenal. This emerged amid reports by Correire dello Sport that Lazio are now ready to part ways with the Serbian Midfielder.
Savic has 18 months remaining on his current contract and despite being rated €60M by transfer market, can be available for a loan deal with ultimate option of €40M move during the summer.
The same report claims that Arsenal have been in contact with the midfielder's agent Kezman. Should a deal cross over the line, Arsenal will be comfortable in the advance central midfield as either Granit Xhaka or Odegaard will have more rest time in the fixture.
Although signing of Savic may go against Arsenal's sequence of the club recent arrivals, adding an experienced quality into the squad will be a good move for Arteta.
