With barely three weeks to the start of the 2022-23 Qatar Stars League season, various clubs are currently under preparations by lining up a number of preseason friendly matches.Al Duhail which is home to Kenya national team captain Michael Olunga is one of the clubs which has lined up a number of friendly matches with foreign clubs.
Al Duhail who travelled with their squads to Austria at the beginning of July are expected to play four friendly matches in a span of eleven days.They will kick off their preseason campaign with Romanian side CS U Craiova on July 6 before playing with Austrian side SC Imst on July 10.Their third match in Austria will be against Greek giants Panathinaikos before rapping up the outing with a clash against Bundesliga outfits Augsburg.
"Our first team commenced their training session today as part of the preparational camp in Austria.The team held the training on two sessions, morning and evening, where the players accessed the gym performing physical exercises in the morning while the evening training session were on the field to play which consisted of various technical drills by the players," the club confirmed through their social media platforms.
