The Kenyan competitor devoted her success to fallen partner Agnes Tirop who kicked the bucket on Wednesday, October 13. The 25-year-old competitor had set broken the ladies just ten-kilometer street race record set in Germany in September 2020 and was a motivation for some competitors.
