Gor Mahia Biggest Casualities as 8 Players are Dropped From Harambee Stars Provisional Squad

Eight players have been axed from Harambee Stars' camp that is preparing for World Cup Qualifiers against Uganda and Rwanda next month.

Those dropped are among over 30 players called by Head Coach Jacob Mulee last week to start preparing for Qatar competition next year.

Information circulating in media shows that 3 players from Gor Mahia, 2 from KCB and one from AFC Leopards, Kariobangi Sharks and Wazito have been dropped from the squad.

Kevin Kimani (Wazito) Clifton Miheso, Benson Omalla and Samuel Onyango (Gor Mahia) Clyde Senaji (AFC Leopards), Nashon Alembi and Barack Badi (Kenya Commercial Bank, KCB) and Brandon Obiero (Kariobangi Sharks).

Sports journalist Fred Arocho also shared the names on his Facebook page.

Kenya is in group E with Mali, Rwanda and Uganda and will open her campaign at home against Rwanda on September 2 before traveling to Rwanda on 5th.

The third game will be against Mali in October.
