Here is a look into the performance of Kenyan players abroad as their teams were playing last night.
Vasalunds secured a 1-1 draw against Swedish Superettan league leaders Varnamo. Vasalunds is home to two Kenyan players: defender Antony Wambani and midfielder Mohammed Katana Nyanje.
Hosts, Vasalunds are in the last position of the Swedish Superettan league with 22 points after playing 24 matches; they might be relegated from the league at the end of season if they poor run continues.
However, youngster Mohammed Katana Nyanje was benched in yesterday's match as his counterpart Antony Wambani played the entire 90 minutes.
Vasalunds took an early lead in the 57th minute from Vasic Nikola's strike but Christian Moses equalised in the 66th minute. The two teams shared the spoils as the match ended 1-1.
Varnamo are leading with 47 points, four points ahead of second placed Sundsvall who have a match in hand.
