Manchester City entertained arch-rivals Liverpool at Etihad Stadium in a hotly contested Premier League fixture as they battle for the Championship. Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus scored a stunner in the 36th minute after being assisted by Cancelo to gift the hosts a 2-1 lead at halftime.
Liverpool opened the second hungry for more goals and equalized in the 46th minute through Sadio Mane who was assisted by Mohamed Salah to level the match at 2-2. After the 2-2 Draw, Manchester City climbed up to the top of the EPl table with 74 points while Liverpool moved up to position 2 with 73 points; 11 points above 3rd placed Chelsea who have a game at hand.
