Just In: Manchester United Yet To Propose New Contract To Player Who Rejected First Offer

The Manchester United board are yet to offer new contract extension bid to Jesse Lingard after he refused the first proposal of a long term deal.

The 28 years old star player has been at the club since his childhood and has not yet been convinced that he will given more chances to play in the first team.

According to reliable ESPN reporter Rob Dawson, Manchester United are yet to decide whether they will offer Jesse Lingard a new contract which has attracted interest from Barcelona and AC Milan who might try to sign him on a free transfer.

"Manchester United are yet to return with a fresh proposal as Jesse Lingard had already rejected a contract offer from #mufc over concerns he may not get enough opportunities to keep his place in Gareth Southgate's England squad." Rob Dawson stated.

If he fails to sign a new deal, it will be a huge blow to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he has always rated Jesse Lingard and made sure he never left the club over the summer transfer window.

Should Ole Gunnar Solskjaer allow him leave the club?
