Manchester United Top Transfer Updates: Ronaldo, Cunha and de Jong Deals

Temperatures soared in England on Saturday and no one was feeling the heat more than Manchester United’s latest manager, Erik ten Hag.

The club has conceded six goals in the last two matches, their first game of the season ended on a 2:1 lose to Brighton at Old Trafford, they were were also humiliated by Brentford this weekend after being scored 4 goals in less than 40 minutes.

The club has not yet found solutions to the problems surrounding the club.

Christiano Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes is still working to find a solution, a potential last-minute transfer for Ronaldo. The Portugal forward had earlier announced that he is unhappy at Old Trafford and is only wish is to leave the club this summer.

However, Man United insists that Christiano Ronaldo is not for sale and he is in their plans for the rest of the season.

Man United are also pushing to sign Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha from Athletico Madrid but no agreement has been reached yet. Athletico wants more than €50 million for the 23-year-old.

The Club had also shown interest in signing Dutch midifielder Frenkie de Jong from FC Barcelona but no deal was agreed. Barca maintained that de Jong was not for sale.
