Man United's Biggest Problem This Season That Could Result To The Team Not Winning A Trophy

Manchester United was high flying in the first few games of the season but the team's form has recently deteriorated losing two games in a row. The Red Devils are expected to have a big season ahead of the kind of squad they have but it could be difficult beating the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea to trophies.

The English giants came close to winning a trophy last season under the reign of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. They have shown great improvement and they have one of the best squads in Europe that can win major trophies. However, Manchester United has lost matches they deserved to win with the quality of players.

They have lost against Young Boys in the Champions League, West Ham in Carabao Cup, and the recent one being against Aston Villa in the Premier League. The Red Devils have good players and a winning squad but the biggest problem has been the manager and they might win a trophy under the Norwegian.

He has made great improvement in the team but expectations from Manchester United are higher and going for a season without a trophy is an underachievement. Solskjaer struggles in decision-making and squad selection despite the current quality of talent at Old Trafford.

If it were Jurgen Klopp or Pep Guardiola with such kind of squad he could be high up in the league and could be the best team in the league but for Ole Gunnar has been a completely different case. He lost to Villarreal last season a match he was the favorite to win and he might never win a trophy for the Red Devils.
