A 30-year old man is currently nursing injuries at Kabarnet Referral Hospital in Baringo County after he jumped down from Kabarnet Stadium. Locals and football fans were shocked with the incident. The members were watching football match before the said man attempted suicide by jumping down from the tall building. Mr. Peter Ekai suffered serious injuries in head together with legs and other parts of the body. Ekai also lost two of his teeth during the incident. Source news said Mr. Ekai is doing well at the same hospital. Ekai has not revealed why he wanted to kill himself. Members of public are waiting for the reasons from Mr. Ekai.
He might also taken to court to answer the offence because the law does not allow such incident of suicide to happen. The officers are currently doing their investigation to establish the real cause of the incident. Members of public are advised to disclose their problems to their friends or relative for solution rather than attempting to commit suicide.
