Raphinha has been a hot cake in Europe following a sensational stat he had at Elland Road last season and seasons before.
Sportsdias understands that the West London based club had finished talks with the premier league rivals and were ready to trigger £55 million to complete the move.
However, this dream was cut short by Catalan based club Barcelona who have been keen admirers of the Brazilian since March according to Fabrizio Romano on his latest Caught offside podcast.
The Catalans seems to be faithful that this deal could be a going concern in the next few days despite facing financial muddle.
And CBS reporter Ben Jacobs believes Chelsea must not delay if they really want to bring Raphinha to Stamford Bridge this summer.
According to the transfer guru, Chelsea must strike the agreement within the next 24 or 48 hours because if they fail to do this, Barcelona would pool their resources and complete a move for the Brazilian.
Speaking to GMS, the CBS Reporter said: “It’s a very, very fluid situation, and we should learn more within the next 24 hours because if Chelsea don’t strike an agreement quickly, then every day that passes, it becomes more likely that Barcelona is Raphinha’s next destination."
