BREAKING: Ralf Rangnick Confirmed the New European National Team Manager

With his Old Trafford days all but over, German tactician and current United interim boss, Ralf Rangnick has now landed a sensational managerial job with him being announced as the new head coach of the Austria national team.

However, despite his new role, the 63 year old will continue with his two-year consultancy role at the Red half of Manchester and is expected to help incoming boss, Erik ten Hag to settle in as the Red Devils bid to return back to glory days after several years of slumber.

"I will take over as national team manager of Austria at the end of the season but will continue my consultancy with Manchester United. I’m really looking forward to playing my part in helping United become a real force," said Rangnick following the appointment.

Replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer back in November, 2021, the German tactician has found it difficult to steer the Red Devils back to the top amid reports of dressing room toxicity. However, his extensive role behind the scenes has gone unnoticed and hence, United being able to retain him is no doubt great news.
