Manchester United today managed to narrow the gap between them and their arch rivals Manchester City by eight goals. The red devils grabbed all the three vital points while facing Burnley FC at Old Trafford. England's sensation Mason Greenwood netted the first goal putting United few minutes before the end of first half.
However,United were unlucky in their plan to lead in the first half with James Tarkowski planting a perfect header to the net. This made the first half end in a one goal draw. Mason Greenwood netted the second goal six minutes before the usual ninety minutes.
Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani secured United's lead with a last minute goal after a perfect assist from Donny Van de beek. Cavani has recently seen his form improve. The player was instrumental in United's last week comeback against Tottenham Hotspurs.
United fans have been delighted with the player's perfomances and are calling upon the club to ensure the player stays beyond next season.
