The Blues have been able to make it to the finals of two major competitions this season (FA Cup final and Champions League final). Despite losing the FA Cup to Leicester City last week Saturday, Chelsea still has a chance of winning the Champions League trophy on May 29.
However, looking at the players, there is one of Chelsea major player that needs to leave the team next season if Chelsea must finish top 4. In my opinion, Timo Werner needs to leave Chelsea next season for them to be able to finish top 4.
Since Timo Werner was signed last summer in the last summer window, he hasn't been able to meet up to Chelsea's expectations. Werner has missed so many clear goal scoring opportunities since he came to Stanford Bridge. In fact, his number of goals missed is higher than his number of goals scored.
In my opinion, if Timo Werner remains at Chelsea next season with his current form, Chelsea might not make it to the top 4 next season.
