Kenyan speedster Ferdinand Omanyala has been having an intense training in Dubai ahead of the new season. The Kenyan 100 metres record holder has today revealed on his facebook account that he ran five kilometres in 18 minutes. The question remains to be seen. Will he participate in long distances this coming season? Will he try 200 metres?
Many coaches have talked about his excellent finishing power, his only setback is his starting. They think if the race is abit longer, then the Kenyan could become the best in the world. In my view, Ferdinand Omanyala should try 200 metres as his second race so that we can see all that we have been imagining. Who knows, may be Kenya is set for a big history.
We wish him all the best ahead of the new season. For more news updates tap on the follow link on the top right corner.
