Manchester United and Arsenal's team news ahead of their clash at Old Trafford tonight

Arsenal face Manchester United at Old Trafford today. Arsenal will be without Swiss International midfielder Granit Xhaka, Sead Kolasinac and Bukayo Saka who is a doubt after he lipped off last Saturday against Newcastle.

Michael Carrick will be in charge of his second game after leading the Red Devils to picking up a point at Stamford Bridge last Sunday.

Manchester United will be without defender Raphael Varane, midfielder Paul Pogba and winger Edinson Cavani who are sidelined due to injury. Luke Shaw is still a doubt after missing to feature against Villarreal and Chelsea game. Harry Maguire will return to the team after a one-match ban.

Michael Carrick dropped Christiano Ronaldo on the bench against Chelsea on Sunday and was introduced in the second half. Ronaldo will be hopeful to return to the starting XI tonight.

Mikel Arteta will be looking to knock into the top four door following West Ham's draw yesterday. Arsenal are therefore only separated with a difference of a point by the fourth placed West Ham and wiop fight hard to get to top four.
