Bruno Fernández later on proved his doubters wrong as he hit a brilliant ball from way out of the penalty area to make the score line three one in favour of Manchester United.
Jadon Sancho gave way for Jesse Lingard who played his first match at Old Trafford since last year.
The 28 years old who recently rejected a new contract extension offer from the club also proved his doubters and haters wrong as he got to the scoresheet too.
With an ice cold strike, Jesse Lingard beat the Newcastle United goalkeeper to score Manchester United's fourth and winning goal of the match.
Other than the three, Paul Pogba also made his mark in the game by providing an assist which was the fifth in four games this season.
This match is the start of the brilliant run of games for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as several Manchester United fans expect more this season.
