Arsenal youth Academy player Matheus Roberts recently said that his dream at Arsenal is to repeat what Bukayo Saka and Joe Willock have achieved at Arsenal. Roberts said that he spoke with the players during the lockdown and he was very impressed by what they told him to put into perspective as he chases his dream. Matheus added that he now looks up at the two attackers as his idols.
Roberts is among a bunch of 23 other young Arsenal players who play in the Under 19 league. Roberts is a regular starter for the Gunners and the coach, Francis Milwall holds him in high regard because of how well he performs on the pitch and in training.
Former Chelsea and Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has said that his time in London was the best moment in his football career. Having played in two of the best teams in England, he said that no world-class player would ever wish for more than that. He however said that he loved being at Chelsea more than at Arsenal because it is at Stamford Bridge where he won many trophies.
