There are majority of Chelsea players who are currently out representing their nation in the world cup qualifiers. One of them is Timo Werner who has been on top form in the recent matches he has played for his country.
Werner scored last week on Thursday in their 2-0 triumph over Liechtenstein. He continued with his outstanding performance when his side faced Armenia yesterday. In that match, Werner scored and grabbed a assist in their 6-0 win.
The Chelsea forward created multiple chances and gave Armenia defenders no rest with his pace and great skills. He was among the players who contributed to their huge win yesterday.
When its comes to his club, Timo Werner has been spending most time on the sidelines especially after the arrival of Belgium goal machine Romelu Lukaku. Tuchel has found it hard to drop Lukaku who was second in the top scorer chart in Seria A last season.
Lukaku has start all the three premier league matches this season leaving Timo Werner warming the bench.
Timo Werner proved Tuchel wrong for leaving him out on the bench yesterday when he performed so well creating multiple chances and grabbed a goal and an assist. He proved he can be of great help to his club this season if he is given more playing time.
