Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has identified a player who should not be playing for Manchester United as the Old Trafford side continue to struggle in the Premier League.

According to the Daily Mail, Carragher reveals that Maguire is useless for United because he lacks the authority to lead the Manchester club in the fight for trophies. He revealed that the English skipper is struggling this season because he can't handle the pressure that is there at Old Trafford since the rival of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Liverpool legend claims the 37-year-old star has had a great impact on Harry Maguire's performance this season as he is afraid of losing the armband.

'Maguire’s difficulty in turning it around at Old Trafford is his lack of authority in the United dressing room."

"Since last summer, Maguire has been looking over his shoulder amid a debate as to whether he or Cristiano Ronaldo should be captain. Rather than reassert his leadership, he has fallen short. That has affected his performances."

This comes at a time when a section of England fans booed his name whenever he made a touch on the ball during a friendly match against Ivory Coast yesterday. And the United captain is not on good terms with the club fans and his future could be somewhere else.
