"I Loved Boxing More Than Football' MacDonald Mariga.

Former Harambe Star, Midfielder and Captain MacDonald Mariga during an interview with sports analysist Fred Arocho, he said than he was born in Muthurwa slums and so people should stop confusing that he was born in makongeni. Furthermore, he reaved that he liked boxing so much than football but his mother pushed him so much to play football. Later his father Mr Wanyama started training him and that where he got passion of playing Football.

"I started playing for Ulinzi Stars while I was in form three at Kamukunji High School and I was sure I was going to be an Army, but my Mother also refused me to join army and said I must learn until I finish form four' Mariga also said these words. He also, said that life in Sweden was hard to adapt I had to talk with the club management. I requested them if my mum can come to live with me and they agreed to bring both my Mother and Father.
