Both the senior team and junior team of Manchester United are showing their impressive part of their game through the goals they are scoring and positive results they are getting from their opponents. Yesterday, both the Manchester United under 23 and under 18 teams were playing against Arsenal and Manchester City respectively.

Both the junior teams got big wins, but the under 18 game caught the eye of several Manchester United fans who were impressed by the brilliant performances of one player.

Charlie McNeil who signed for Manchester United over the summer window was the man of the match from the tie against his previous team, Manchester City.

Charlie McNeil who boasts of more than 500 career goals opened the scoring in the tie, then seven minutes later he added his second.

At half time, Charlie McNeil had scored a brilliant hat trick with Manchester City trailing behind with a goal. The game ended in a 4-2 score line in the favour of Manchester United.

Charlie McNeil has been a brilliant player for the under 18 as he has already scored 11 goals in the few matches he has played for the side. Will he be the next player to be given a promotion to the senior side?
