Matatu fans in Kenya have started 2023 being angry after one of there favourite matatu was stoned in Lake Naivasha by youth who had gone to celebrate the new year party at the Lake.
According to Kelvin Muigai aka Kevo who was at the site during the incident, the matatu was destroyed by goons who had pretended to be fishermen. The goons attacked them and damaged the matatu while they were on there road trip.

The matatu is damaged with the windscreen broken together with other some passenger windows also broken. The interior of the matatu was not damaged during the incident. The rear wheels were also deflated.

Kenyans have expressed there disappointment with the youth and have disbanded Naivasha as a zone of going during road trips. " Vasha is a no go zone kila road trip lazima gari irudi kama imeharibiwa mahali ama vioo zimevunjika" Said Kavangi senior who was not happy with the incident.
