Manchester United had tried much to score a goal but their hopes were futile not until the Scottish Professional player came in for their rescue.Scott who was not among the starting lineup, came in as a substitute for Casemiro and finally found the breakthrough with his first goal of the season to keep the Reds in with a chance of topping group E.
Jadon Sacho as well was outstanding by creating the assist to Scott who hastily unleashed an unstoppable close-range kick of the ball straight to the back of the net amid two Omonia's defenders, to give Manchester United a goal. United had a total of 34 goals on target before beating Omonia's goalkeeper the last minute score.
Manchester United dominated the play in the first half of the game but Omonia's goalkeeper Francis Uzoho was outstanding by making several saves that denied United any goal despite having many shots on target.
The last minute goal has secured United a second position in the group E table where the Spanish club Real Sociedad is leading by 12 points followed by Manchester United with 9 points.
