Solskjaer is increasingly at risk of losing his job at Old Trafford after recent results. Despite Solskjaer's legendary status at United as a player and goodwill towards him from many fans as manager, patience is starting to wear thin among many supporters. Fans are more determined to see a change made and a growing number of supporters want to see Solskjaer's replacement installed.
If United did sack Solskjaer and go with the supporters' calls, it would prove to be a popular decision. Ten Hag is considered to have huge potential, a view shared by Klopp who has waxed lyrical about the Ajax boss. Ten Hag was appointed Ajax head coach in December 2017 and has guided the club to 5 major trophies, as well as being minutes away from reaching the 2019 UCL final.
Jürgen Klopp endorsed Ten Hag to replace Solskjaer saying, "Erik is rightly regarded as one of the most exciting coaching talents in world football at the moment because of the work he does with Ajax."
