Michy Batshuayi has left the club after the departure of Tammy Abraham to Toma. The blues confirmed this deal via their website that Batshuayi left the blues to join Besiktas on a season long loan. Michy extended his contract at Chelsea until 2023 and joined Besiktas on loan.
The Belgian star moved to Chelsea from Marseille in 2016 but has been regularly loaned out to other clubs. Michy Batshuayi spent time on loan at Borussia Dortmund and Valencia before two spells at Crystal Palace with the Belgium international now heading to Turkey.
However he has also scored 25 goals in 77 Chelsea appearances including one which clinched the premier league title at west Brom in may 2017. With just two weeks to go in this summer's transfer window the rumour mill has churned into overdrive as teams across the continent scramble to improve their squads.
While certain section of blues fan base were disappointed that Chelsea had to settle for yet another of their infamous loan deals, the folks over in Turkey seemed chuffed to bits with their business.
Batshuayi is unlikely to be the last man to walk through the Stamford bridge exits this summer, with it reported that Chelsea is also looking to offload Kouma, Barkley, Drinkwater and Bakayoko on either loan or permanent deals.
