Here's How The Nigerian Team Were Treated in Benin Ahead of Their Clash

The Nigerian National Team coach, Gernot Rohr has complained that they were treated cruelly upon their arrival in Benin. The Nigerians were forced to travel by boats to their destination which is at Porto Norvo. The ride was not smooth for the players as they used regular boats.

After this, they were accorded a cold reception by being given a field to train on that had no floodlights. The Nigerian side had to make do with using the moon for their training exercises before their AFCON qualifiers match.

Benin play Nigeria tonight at 7PM with both teams leading their pool. Nigeria has 8 points after 4 games and Benin has 7 points after 4 games. It will be all to play for as each team looks to secure the top spot ahead of the scheduled Africa Cup of Nations that is to be held in Cameroon.
