Messi scored a wonderful and spectacular goal after combining with Mbappe. Messi started a counter attack after detecting a space in Manchester City's defence. The Argentine legend drived foward with the ball and played faster pases with Mbappe. He finally had an assist from Mbappe to score a wonderful goal for PSG. It was a nice combination from the two fowards. Neymar, Messi and Mbappe combined several times and gave Manchester City's defence a night mare. The trio had over 15 dribbles attempted against Manchester City. This is despite Manchester City having the lions share of the ball possession.
From the match, there was a clear indication that the trio had found an understanding between them. It was not like the previous games. Messi, Neymar and Mbappe knew the patterns of movement for each other. Manchester City has one of the best defence in Europe but they conceded two goals.
